[MOB] Server Rules:
Here come our Battlefield Server Rules! They want to provide fairness to the game and fun for ALL players. They also want to encourage teamplay. We expect you to accept and respect them - if so, you are very welcome! Otherwise we don´t want you to play on our servers. We kick without warning, repeated violation of this rules will cause a permanent ban.
1 Teamplay:
We like teamplay very much. It is one of the reasons why we play Battlefield 1942. Teamplay depends on each player, so use your brain and think about how you can help your team to win the match. Defend important flags and spawnpoints and enable your teammates to enter the battle again. Keep your head down and act together with your team - a lonely attack ends up in lonely death. Not your personal ranking is important, but the victory of your team. If you have a free seat in your vehicle, don´t leave anyone behind who calls for a ride. If a teammate calls for help, support him if possible. Note: If you join the server but don´t participate in the match at all, a kick may be the consequence. Same goes, if you stay inactive or camping once at one place for more than 5 Minutes.
2 Pilots:
If you are not a good pilot, leave the planes for those who can use them properly. If you are a good pilot, help your team as far as possible. Remember, flags can mostly only be taken on the ground - so if there is no plane available, don´t camp for it! Your team needs you! Do not kill enemys by kamikaze!
3 Sailors:
Take care of your ship - it will be the key to win the match on some maps. Don´t sail to close to a coast and avoid any ground contact. If you want to get ashore, use the landing crafts. Do not stay with your ship within the reach of a coastal gun, if you don´t want to destroy it. Use Engineer-Class and repair your ship if necessary.
4 Basecamping + Baseraping:
Stay away from any uncapturable Flag, especially from the enemy main bases.
- DO NOT stay in or close by those points and kill respawning enemys
- DO NOT damage or destroy enemy vehicles in uncapturable main bases with any weapon. Especially we don´t want you to bomb those bases or fire with tanks and artillery at the area inside the borders of the bases.
- if you want to steal an enemy vehicle from an uncapturable Base, TAKE IT AND LEAVE THE BASE IMMEDIATELY! Avoid to shoot at enemy soldiers there. Any stay in the base, especially on repair pads, will be interpreted as Basecamping.
- self defense is allowed in all cases a player will be attacked from inside the base, e.g. by artillery or AA guns.
5 Spawnkilling:
Another very unsporty behavior is spawnkilling. Guilty of spawnkilling is every player who camps close to respawn points or paradrop points and kills respawning enemys with out trying to capture the controlpoint which the spawnpoints belong to. Repeated spawnkilling, even after being warned by an admin, can cause a permanent ban.
6Teamkilling:
We know, it is not possible to avoid every teamkill in a Battlefield 1942 match. But we want you to take care. Think before shooting. Don´t fire heavy shells if you are not sure the target is free of teammates. We expect you also to excuse you to your victim if you teamkilled someone. Keep in mind: There is an autokick enabled if a player reaches a minus score of 6.
7 Cheating:
With Punkbuster enabled, cheating is no serious threat anymore. But we know, that some people will try to cheat further, and maybe they find a way to do it. We kick everyone who is suspicious, and we will not discuss about that.
8 Language:
We don´t want any explicit words, racist or bad language on our servers. Stay polite. Talk to your teammates in german or english - no other language will be accepted.
9 Names:
We don´t accept any nicknames with references to racism, inhumaníty and terrorism, especially Nazi-names. You also should not use "Player" or nicknames made only of non-verbal characters and numbers.
10 Radio Commands:
These are an easy and efficient way to communicate with your teammates whatever language they speak. We expect your knowledge and intense use of the F-Buttons, because they are essential for teamplay. Spamming is against that idea and will cause a kick.
